Social Relay (“the Application”) is a self-hosted personal tool operated by a single owner. It automates cross-posting of Instagram content to other social platforms after manual approval via Telegram.

Data we process

• Instagram posts, captions, and media (photos/videos) fetched via the Instagram Graph API
• OAuth access and refresh tokens for Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and related platforms
• AI-generated text (OpenAI) and human edits stored for approval workflows
• Telegram chat identifiers of approved moderators
• Publication status, logs, and locally stored media files

Where data is stored

All data is stored locally on infrastructure controlled by the operator (SQLite database and filesystem). The Application is not a multi-tenant cloud service.

Third-party services

The Application sends data only to APIs required for its function: Meta (Instagram/Threads), TikTok, OpenAI, and Telegram. No data is sold to third parties.

Public endpoints

When configured, the operator exposes a public HTTPS base URL (APP_PUBLIC_BASE_URL, currently https://lokkispacemeow.com) so platforms can download video files for publishing (e.g. /media/ signed URLs). Health and legal pages may also be served on the same host.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained until deleted by the operator on their own systems. Uninstalling or wiping the local database removes application data.
